Absolutely Athens Award

Absolutely Athens!

In Athens we always ask; what makes Athens so unique? We believe it is the people. The people that invest in our community, roll out the red carpet for our visitors, and provide service that is above and beyond.

The Absolutely Athens Award celebrates frontline staff that makes a direct positive impact on the visitors of Athens County.

We are looking for those staff members that make our visitors want to come to Athens, stay in Athens and love Athens.

Who can be nominated?

Any frontline staff member that has a direct positive impact on visitors. Examples include servers, front desk staff, bar staff, sales associates and technicians. The nominee should be someone who rolls out the welcome mat for visitors. Someone who goes above and beyond to interact with guests, assisting them while they are visiting. Someone who shows visitors the true spirit of Athens, making them love it as much as we do.
