Hours: Saturday – Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

You’ll want to bring your kids to Libby’s Pumpkin Patch for their long list of fun kid-friendly activities AND for their delicious homemade pumpkin ice cream. Children are able to enjoy themselves in a corn maze, hay rides, speedy slides and a corn bin crawl unique to Libby’s! Activity bands for children are only $5 and children 2 and under are free.

PumpkinFest 2015  | Dairy Barn Arts | 10/24

Can’t wait until Halloween for some pumpkin fun? Don’t worry, because this year the Dairy Barn Arts Center is hosting Pumpkin Fest 2015 on Saturday! It’s a family fun occasion that fills faces with smiles and mouths with candy. Guests to the Dairy Barn can look forward to pumpkin carving and homemade decorating, along with a frightening amount of family crafts and face painting. Families can take horse drawn wagon rides through the fields surrounding the Dairy Barn for a truly authentic and enjoyable autumn experience. PumpkinFest 2015 starts at 1 p.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon!

Rocky Horror Picture Show | ARTS/West | 10/24

Head to ARTS/West on Saturday for the cult classic the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dress up as your favorite character and bring props to use at various times throughout the show. Like the Great Pumpkin, it just wouldn’t be Halloween without taking in this beloved movie. Admission is only $5 (children 16 and under must be with paying adult) and the show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Halloween Game Night | Athens Community Center | 10/29

Find fun the whole family can enjoy at the Athens Community Center‘s annual Halloween Game Night. Plus crafts, treats, music, prizes and a costume parade will insure a frightenly good time for all little ghosts and gobblins. The parade starts at 6:45 p.m. to kick off the fun.

Stuart’s Fright Night | Stuart’s Opera House | 10/30

Stuart’s is hosting a ghoulish Halloween delight at this month’s Final Fridays on the Square. Prepare yourself for Stuart’s first Fright Night, where a frightening number of seasonal activities and fun games will be available for children and families of all ages! Come dressed to scare as their classic Halloween Party begins at 6 p.m. Visitors to Stuart’s can look forward to a night full of face painting, mask making, and bobbing for apples. Tarot card readings from Horus Moonshine are going to be available for those daring enough to look into their future. For those participating in Stuart’s Costume Contest from 7 – 9 p.m., they can expect to compete in several categories while being judged for the big cash prizes available! Stick around through the end of the night for a FREE spooktacular showing of Stephen King’s, The Shining, starting at 10 p.m

Athens Block Party | Court Street | 10/31

Halloween is here and with it comes the biggest block party Ohio has to offer. This year, the Block Party mysteriously falls on Halloween night so carry an extra can of zombie repellant as the streets of Athens are expected to fill with ghouls and monsters of every shape and size. Keep an eye out for the most original and creative costumes for the Costume Contest judging. Two musical stages at each end of Court Street will fill the night with great tunes and will keep the . Court Street will be closed for traffic, allowing festive revelers to take the streets by storm. You won’t want to miss the absolute best Halloween party of the year!
