Get moving along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway
If you’re looking for an active way to enjoy the weather and views, grab your bike or lace up your shoes and head to the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. Start at the bikeway in Athens, in front of the Athens Community Center on East State Street, and you’ll pass Ohio University’s campus and then disappear into the serene woods along the Hocking River leading you all the way to Nelsonville. The best part about the bikeway during the spring? The Japanese cherry blossoms along the Hocking River!
