Athens GO TO Cab is an owner operated cab company serving the Athens & Ohio University community. GO TO Cab has three taxi-vans that are used as taxis as well as for express airport service. The staff offers friendly service in vehicles that are safe and clean.

Athens Airport Shuttle offers daily service to and from Athens and Port Columbus International Airport by reservation, as well as day trips to local destinations.

New Routes:

  • Cleveland //Parkersburg// Athens Route:  GoBus began running a once daily roundtrip between Cleveland and Athens under a new partnership with Barons Bus Lines. Stops include: Parma, Cleveland, Broadview Heights, Akron, Canton, Mt. Eaton, New Philadelphia, Newcomerstown, Cambridge, Caldwell, Marietta, Parkersburg, Coolville, Athens, and Ohio University.
  • Cleveland // Parkersburg//Charleston, WV Route: the Ohio portion of an already established route that runs once daily between Cleveland and Charleston, WV began to receive funding. Stops will include Cleveland, Akron, Canton, New Philadelphia, Newcomerstown, Cambridge, Caldwell, Marietta, Parkersburg, WV, Ripley, WV, and Charleston, WV. Barons Bus Lines is the operator of this route.

An exciting new feature of the expansion is that the base price for all one city-over tickets will only be $5.00 giving residents another option for regional travel.  For instance, passengers getting on the Athens stops can go to the Albany, Nelsonville, or Coolville stops for just $5 one-way. Other trips range from $10-$25 one-way.
