5th Annual “Real Food Real Local” Conference
Three days of workshops, panels, tastings, food tours and peer exchange
July 18th through July 20th
Eclipse Company Store, 11309 Jackson Drive, The Pains, OH 45780
This Ohio Brew Week, immerse yourself in even more “local” than just local brews at the 5th Annual Real Food * Real Local Conference. Each year this conference is hosted in July to celebrate Brew Week, 30 Mile Meal Month and all things local. Come see why the Athens area is described by Edible Columbus as a “Garden of Eatin.”
This year’s conference highlights the economic impacts of local-regional food and the development of food enterprise hubs and distribution networks. Enjoy local foods & libations, a tour of local food businesses in Pomeroy and a look at renewable energy initiatives within Athens. Whether you are a local food entrepreneur, farmer, processor, retailer, or locavore champion, the gathering has something for everyone; fresh ideas, proven approaches, great connections, plenty of interaction and fun!
The conference takes place at the historic Eclipse Town in The Plains. If you are interested in attending one day or all three call ACEnet at 740-592-3854 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. If you can’t make it, stay updated on conference activities on @acenetathens or #RFRL16.
