Agroforestry (the incorporation of trees into agriculturally productive landscapes) is the future of Appalachia. Learn strategies to create resilience food, fuel, and fodder production in your own backyard or back forty. The class includes on overview of agroforestry strategies, tour of the Solid Ground Farm research projects, and hands on training in fruit tree planting, pruning, and grafting. Class is $15.
