Come watch and learn from some of the best in the world! The atlatl is a primitive hunting system that was used all over the world for over 30,000 years and many of the world ranked atlatlist live within hours of Albany, Ohio. Demonstrations and free instruction for beginners will be provided.

Contest will consist of the Ohio Atlatl Associations state accuracy contests, the World Atlatl Associations International Standard Accuracy Contest (IASAC). A small donation will be requested to compete and all proceeds will go to the Vietnam Veterans Association scholarship fund. All WAA rules will be observed at this contest.

The OAA will also have throws on the following dates:

August 7th, 2015 – Steve’s House, in the evening (more details to be provided.)

September 4th-6th – Flint Ridge Lithic Society Knap-In

September 11th-13th – Pawpaw Festival, Albany Ohio

October 2nd-4th – The Plains Indian Mound Festival

October 30th-31st – Zaleski State Forest (ROAR Days)
