Explore a little-walked trail leading to beaver ponds through mature and young forest in the northern portion of Stroud’s Run State Park. Look and listing for songbirds arriving from their winter resorts. Bring binoculars if you have them.
This hike is led by Athens-area birder Stefan Gleissberg.
Athens County 101 is a series of walks through the county led by local enthusiasts that highlight historical and natural landmarks.
