Why shop at the Farmers Market?
Put the faces to your favorite local foods! Meet and support those that devote their time, resources and land to feeding us. Ask them about the varieties of tomatoes they are selling, how to roast that chicken, or how long you can expect that bag of lettuce to last. Try some samples. Enjoy the best part of Saturday mornings in Athens!
Easy to find, the market is located at 1000 East State Street in the parking lot of The Market on State Mall.
Farmer’s Market Winter Schedule
Starting in December, some market vendors move inside the Market on State. Find these vendors by entering through the main entrance under the Belks sign. Some market vendors stay outside all winter in the usual location. Please support both inside and outside vendors during the winter.
