Join the Southeast Ohio History Center (formerly the Athens County Historical Society)
for a behind-the-scenes tour of their new building
A work in progress, the History Center is located at 24 West State Street. The tour starts at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th with a talk from architect, Trent DeBruin, who is helping preserve and repurpose the 100-year-old building.
Tour of the building and explore the past, present and future of the Southeast Ohio History Center. Curator, Jessica Cyders will be on hand to allow visitors a sneak peek into some of the collection’s most interesting pieces. Light snacks and refreshments will be available after the tour.
