Stuart’s Opera House: The weather is warming up and that means that it is time for the Stuart’s Free Summer Concert Series on Final Fridays! June’s edition kicks off the summer with a performance from Webb Wilder & The Beatnecks out on the Square starting at 7:00pm. Before there were Kings of Leon, Keys of Black or Whites of Jack in Nashville, there was Webb Wilder… Rock ’n’ roll from Nashville.  Formed from Mississippi mud, tinged with British mod. Bruised by the blues. Baptized by Buck and Chuck. Psychiatric psycho-rootsy. Sizzling, glistening, uneasy listening. As it has been for three decades, it is now and ever shall be. Webb Wilder. Mississippi Moderne. Pronounce it however you like, but Webb pronounces it “Moe-durn.” Hybridized and improvised. ( In case of bad weather the show will move inside of Stuart’s Opera House.  The Stuart’s Gallery is closed for renovations and construction.)

Paper Circle: Opening Night: Nature & Humans: Real & Surreal.  Jon Jager’s artworks and illustrations, largely with a surreal bent, bring forth both a cooperative and conflicting relationship between humans and the natural world.  A graduate of the Tyler School of Art (Temple University), Jon’s fine art and commercial work shows his acknowledgement of the dichotomy between people and nature and his general interest in the natural world.

The Majestic Galleries: Continuing:  Black & White.  This is an all member multi-media show.

Nelsonville Emporium You’ve worked hard!  Stop in and treat yourself to Wren Valley Farms Truffles and Caramels.  Also, Steven Franklin Mount book signing.
