    Stuarts Gallery 1879:   IN THE LOBBY:  Big Easy Cuisine hosted by the Hocking College Epicurean Club, featuring Seafood & Sausage Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, $3 bowl.  Continuing: Stag Song: The Art of Emily Beveridge – A selection of Athens artist Emily Beveridge’s artwork based on animal mythology.

    Starbrick Cooperative Gallery:  Opening Night : Ceramics Invitational featuring Ohio University grad students and the Ceramic Faculty.

    Nelsonville Library:  Final Friday for Kids!  Drop in from 6:00-7:30 pm and make a Mardi Gras mask to wear on the Square. For kids of all ages and families. On Exhibit: Paper Mache Mermaid by Sandy Russell. In honor of the Little Mermaid production taking place at Stuart’s Opera House in March, artist Sandy Russell has hand sculpted an amazing mermaid that is currently on display at the library. Final Friday Book Sale: Don’t forget to browse our book sale; you never know what treasure you’ll find. As always, book sale items are just 30 cents a piece!

    Paper Circle:  Continuing: Lost in Disguises and Anarchies by Majestic Gallery member Kathy Guest.  Featuring some new, large pieces as well as paper quilts and small framed pieces.   All work is paper that has been embossed, cut, pigmented and otherwise embellished.

    Nelsonville Emporium The Season is changing!  Stop in where Diane Mechem Kinser, local author and Historian, will be doing a book signing.  New books and bundles available.

    The Majestic Anex: Continued: Changeling. It is typically described as being the offspring of a fairy, elf or troll that has been secretly left in the place of a human child.  One belief is that trolls thought that it was more respectable to be raised by humans, and that they wanted to give their own children a human upbringing.
