ARTS/West  Athens, Ohio – April 6, 6:30 – 8:30 pm  – Opening reception for the exhibit, Freedom in Creativity, painted works by Adrien Blake that will hang in the ARTS/West gallery space, 132 W. State St. Athens, OH, April 6, 2017 – May 8 , 2017, business hours 10 am – 4 pm, Monday – Thursday;  call first for extended hours 740/592-4315
Adrien has this to say about his exhibit: “My show aims to reveal my varied interests, and broad subject matter, where I’m not just labeled as a landscape painter, or a figurative painter, but as an artist who creates works based on his feelings.”
The opening reception is free to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.
The mission of ARTS/West is to make facilities, resources, and opportunities available to arts organizations, individual artists, and community residents.  ARTS/West harnesses community focus for all individuals engaged in the creation, performance, and exhibition of the arts and promotes activities preserving the beauty, heritage, and culture of our town.
The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
