Improving Your Water Quality with Storm Water Management

Date(s) - June 16, 2015
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come learn what the City of Athens is doing to improve the quality of our waterways and how you can be a part of that movement. Water quality is everyone’s business. Storm waters are rapidly becoming the #1 vehicle for pollutants entering our waterways in the United States. Thousands of pounds of trash, road grit, eroded soil, motor vehicle fluids,  ice control, cigarette butts, pet waste, lawn fertilizers and garden herbicides and pesticides enter our waters each year via storm drains.
