L’espresso d’ amore (Caffeinated Opera Scenes)

Date/Time
Date(s) - November 12, 2015 - November 13, 2015
8:00 pm

What happens when you set opera in a coffee shop? Caffeinated opera scenes! Join us to see the Coffee Cantata by Bach, followed by Tyler the Latte Boy, then Anything You can Do from Annie get your Gun and a scene from a Mozart opera Cosi fan tutte all set in a very familiar Athens venue. Then see the second act of the evening: 2 pieces by Menotti (American opera composer). The first is a portion of The old maid and the thief and the finisher is the one act opera The Telephone. Even the characters in these will be drinking that ubiquitous take out…Donkey coffee!
