to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway featuring Jackie O’s craft beer brewed in Athens, Ohio. 

Wine will also be available for purchase on the train.

You have two choices of tickets for this event.   Review your choices before purchasing your tickets.  Please print off your e-mail ticket and bring to the depot.  Note: There is also plenty of parking behind the depot. Cross the tracks and turn left into parking lot.

50/50 tickets will be available at 3/$5 and a $5 Raffle ticket will be offered for a chance to win a 2-night stay at Burr Oak Lodge (

Must be 21 and over to attend event.

Since this is a fundraising event, no refunds will be given unless event cancels.

All proceeds benefit these non-profits:  Historic Downtown Nelsonville Association and Burr Oak Alive!


V.I.P. (Very Irish Person) $45 each

Social hour starts on the train at 5:00 p.m. Depot opens at 3:30 p.m. Your V.I.P. ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Rocky Boot Grille, one complimentary beer or wine AND the train ride which will leave the depot around 6 p.m.  The train ride is about an hour long.

Additional beer will be available for $4.00 and wine for $5.00.

Coach Tickets $25

Enjoy a fun St. Paddy’s train ride with beer and wine available for purchase! Train leaves the depot approximately 6:00 p.m.  Arrive at the depot no later than 5:30 p.m. but feel free to arrive earlier if you wish.  You will be able to board the train and find a seat on one of the coach cars.  Depot opens for the Coach cars at 4:30. Note: Coach passengers do not have access to the Social Hour, however, beer will be  available in the Coach cars for $4.00 and wine for $5.00.
