Stefan Sagmeister Exhibition, Now is Better

“Now is Better” will showcase a corporate self-promo video on a loop that received the 2013 New York Festival International Advertising Award and 2013 Award by the Global Association for Creative Advertising & Design. 
Stefan Sagmeister, born in Austria in 1962, is a New York-based graphic designer and lettering artist. He is a co-founder of a design firm Sagmeister & Walsh that creates identities, commercials, websites, apps, films, books and projects. Sagmeister has spent many years designing for the music industry and received Several Grammy Awards for his designs.
He worked for the Rolling Stones, The Talking Heads, Lou Reed, David Byrne, Aerosmith and Pat Metheny. Some of his clients have been AIGA Detroit, Anni Kuan Design, Capitol Records, Copy Magazine, and the Guggenheim Museum. Exhibitions on Sagmeister’s work have been mounted in New York, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Paris, Lausanne, Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Cologne & Berlin. Sagmeister delivered several TED talks, such as The power of time off (2009), Designing with slogans (2008), Happiness by design (2007). Sagmeister achieved notoriety in the 1990s as the graphic design provocateur for his unorthodox, provocative designs that tweak the status quo and question the designer’s role.
