The Plains Indian Mound Festival, sponsored by The Plains Lions Club, is held the second weekend in October. Most events throughout the festival are held at The Plains Community Park on Connett Road in The Plains. Learn about the history of the Indian Mounds while having a good time with family and friends. Enjoy live entertainment each evening, bounce houses for kids, the Queen, Princess & Brave contests, and of course, the parade!
