The Sounds of Christmas

On Saturday Dec 12 at 4 PM the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and Soul Biscuits invite you to “The Sounds of Christmas,” a holiday concert featuring several OU School of Music vocal faculty and students, instrumentalists, and organist Marsha Reilly. The program includes a range of classic Christmas carols, like “Gaudete,” a 16th-century sacred  carol, “In the Bleak Midwinter,” based on a poem written around 1872 by Christina Rossetti, “Lo How a Rose E’er Blooming,” a 16th-century German carol, and several more that may inspire the audience to sing along, like “Joy to the World” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.”  Wine and cheese reception to follow. We hope you’ll come!

This event is free. Appetizers and wine provided; donations gratefully accepted.
