Ohio Brew Week is something truly special for Athens. It’s only a handful of times each year that we’re able to showcase Athens and our surrounding lifestyle to visitors in hopes that they’ll realize what they’ve been missing and devote more time to this beautiful region. Sharing with so many newcomers has it’s setbacks so we also try to make it simple for you to find the tastes and sights of Athens that you’re here for. After all, with over 200 different brews in town, it’s a challenge to knock out your list before Ohio’s Brew Week is through.
We’re lucky enough that Athens is a small town but with a big attitude and tons of fun things going on that are sure to entice those of all ages and interests. Athens’ east side is home to several restaurants that eat up the locavore movement and host a variety of craft beers as homage to this year’s Ohio Brew Week. They may be easy to get to, but a challenge to leave!
