The Little Blue Caboose is our sapphire gem. Hundreds of tiny blue rivets on her metal exterior, hint to all the little details within, where funky art-deco design brings her to life. This Norfolk and Western caboose, the only train with two sets of twin bunk beds, is set up perfectly for a family of four or a girls’ weekend. A window-lined cupola gives those on the top bunks a conductor’s view of the Hideaway property…. AND there’s even a second tv tucked up there just for them. A small loveseat in the living area, a comfy window seat alongside the kitchenette and swivel chair in a separate reading corner, mean you can each find your own favorite niche. The antique brass pendant bedazzles the built-in dining banquette inside. Outdoors, the solid wood dining table on the 300 square foot covered porch is bedazzled by the greenery of the panoramic view of the fields below. Rock yourself into relaxation from the cushioned rockers on the large porch. Explore your private green space where you will find a fire-pit with classic Adirondack chairs and a Weber propane grill. So much to see, so much to do … all aboard the blue choo choo!
